Does your driveway need a little TLC? Does it seem to be an eye sore to the curb appeal of your home? It may be hard to determine if a new driveway is necessary, so to help you determine if you are in need of a new driveway, here are the top warning signs.

Top Signs You Need a New Driveway

  • Cracks – Cracks are common amongst driveways. Cracks don’t necessarily require a driveway replacement if the cracks are small. However, if the crack is far and wide apart, it’s likely too big to repair.
  • Drainage – Are you having drainage problems? A driveway that is not sloped properly, or uneven can lead to insufficient drainage. A sign of poor drainage is small pools forming in one or multiple areas. Excess water can lead to potholes, cracks, and a weaker driveway overall. If you are having drainage issues you may want to consider a new driveway to resolve the issue.
  • Potholes – Most drivers have experience driving over potholes, and it’s a know fact that it’s not pleasant, and can be rough on your car. So, you could imagine how inconvenient it can be to drive over or have to avoid a pothole every day on your driveway. If you have one or more potholes in your driveway, this could be a motive to invest in a new one.
